While I am making my own schedule I am happy to connect with with local people needing help with anything web related. I'm also working with a non-profit teaching kids to code in grades K-7.
Otherwise I am up-skilling fullstack technologies as well as AI integrations. I have some ideas for projects that I will be documenting here. Maybe my struggles learning can help someone else.
budget buddy
I was interested in what I could do with RSS feeds ever since I started using them to listen to podcasts. When I watched a video titled "RSS is not dead" about people making their own tiny servers and building their own tiny back ends to manage their own feeds I'm back on the train. I want to try!
I taught myself how to budget after doing my own taxes as a 1099 freelancer at the beginning of my career. Ever since then the spread sheet has exploded in complexity. I do wonder if I would use an app if I figured out how to automate some of the things I am doing repetitively. Or is the freedom to tweak the methods the beauty of my delicate budget sheet? I think I need to chunk out features and find out.
